Standardized state tests further show that about 43 percent of the district’s students are proficient in reading. Forty-four percent of its students are proficient in mathematics.

Students who plan to go to college and take the ACT test in the Dysart Unified School District achieve an average test score of 23. This test score beats the national average ACT score of 20.6.

Likewise, close to 94 percent of all high school students in the Dysart Unified School District graduate successfully. This high percentage stands in stark contrast to the national high school graduation rate of 85 percent.
