McDowell Mountain Ranch is a master-planned community that is located east of Thompson Peak Parkway along East Bell Road. East McDowell Ranch Road traverses through the community’s north central area. The Cimarron Hills Community Center and McDowell Mountain Golf Club are located within McDowell Mountain Ranch.

McDowell Mountain Ranch is open to homeowners of all ages. It offers amenities for residents in all age categories to encourage people in the community to engage with each other and enjoy the neighborhood open spaces. The homeowners association collects an annual fee from residents to maintain the community.

The fees are also used to offer numerous community amenities like a community center that can be used for celebrations, meetings, workshops, dinners, dances and other occasions. There are also covered ramadas throughout the neighborhood for residents to enjoy cookouts and picnics.

This community has one of the hottest real estate markets in the Greater Phoenix area, and home prices are expected to climb in the near future. Home prices have already experienced an increase between four to six percent in the last few years. The community is also one of the more popular residential neighborhoods in Scottsdale.

The real estate market in McDowell Mountain Ranch features a mix of single-family residences, condos, townhouses and undeveloped lots of land. The typical condo sells for around $425,000 and has two to three bedrooms, two bathrooms and up to 1800 square feet.

Townhouses are priced slightly higher at around $500,000 to $550,000. They likewise have two to three bedrooms and two bathrooms as well as around 2200 square feet.
