Verrado

Verrado is one of the largest master-planned communities in the Phoenix metropolitan area. This upscale neighborhood utilizes a design concept known as new urbanism. This concept focuses on making the community environmentally responsible by putting businesses, schools, and other features within walking distance.

Once it is finished, Verrado will have more than 14,000 homes. The main street in Verrado is designed to look like old town America. This main area of the community is home to businesses like pharmacies, law firms, barbershops, day spas, and pizzerias.

Verrado has its own sub-community for homeowners aged 55 and older. Named Victory at Verrado, this neighborhood will have more than 3000 homes once it is fully developed.

Amenities

Verrado is designed to encourage an active and environmentally responsible lifestyle. To encourage homeowners to venture outside of their homes, Verrado offers 78 different public parks. There are also dog parks for pet owners and a swim park for families.

Residents of Verrado can also use the 21 miles of walking and biking trails throughout the community. There is a community center where homeowners can enjoy planned activities and neighborhood events.

Education

Verrado is served by three public school districts:

• Litchfield Elementary School District
• Agua Fria High School District
• Saddle Mountain Unified School District

Students in the neighborhood can attend Verrado Elementary School, Verrado Middle School and Verrado High School. Parents can also opt for the Goddard School or Heritage K-8 school for their children.

Homes

Homebuyers interested in moving to Verrado have many different home styles from which to choose. The homes range, from as small as two bedrooms to as expansive as four to five bedrooms.

The spacious homes in Verrado also typically have at least two or three bathrooms. Many of them have half bathrooms in addition to the main bathrooms.
