Tartesso

Tartesso is a master-planned community currently under development in Buckeye. It is the third-largest housing development in the Phoenix area. It will be controlled by a homeowners association to which homeowners will pay an annual due.

Once finished, Tartesso will have more than 49,000 and more than 150,000 residents. It will have its own town center, 26 public parks, and its own hospital. It also will have 17 elementary schools and three high schools that will all be part of the Saddle Mountain Unified School District.

Tartesso is located 3.5 miles off of Interstate 10 on the Sun Valley Parkway. It is located in the shadow of the White Tank Mountains.

Amenities

Tartesso already has a number of upscale amenities to which current homeowners have access. Homeowners here can enjoy a number of public neighborhood parks equipped with swing sets and slides. There are also miles of hiking, biking, and walking trails as well as a tot lot.

People who are keen to get outdoors and get fresh air and exercise can use the community’s numerous open spaces and greenbelts. There is a sports complex with soccer and baseball fields, tennis courts and swimming pools. There are also ramadas where homeowners can picnic and natural washes throughout the community.

Housing

The housing in Tartesso is being designed to be environmentally-friendly and easy to sustain. Houses that are already in the community have spacious floor plans and minimal landscaping. Most yards feature natural rock and stone as well as cacti and other succulent plants.

Many homes also have outdoor swimming pools as well as covered walkways and patios. The large homes here have two and three-car garages. They also have sustainable exteriors made out of materials like stucco and ceramic tile.

Despite being one of the newest neighborhoods in Buckeye, Tartesso has some of the most affordable housing. The houses, which have as many as four and five bedrooms and upwards of three to 3.5 bathrooms sell for as little as $250,000. They also are designed to be Energy Star or LEED certified and come equipped with stainless steel appliances.
