Chandler Heights is small community that shares its boundaries with the nearby cities of Queen Creek and Gilbert. Because it is unincorporated, it does not even have its own zip code. Residents here use the zip code for Queen Creek when receiving mail.

It is 11 miles from the city of Chandler. Despite being unincorporated, Chandler Heights has its own real estate market. Single-family homes can be found by home buyers who are interested in living in this part of the Phoenix metro area.

Boundaries

Chandler Heights is incorporated with Queens Creek and Gilbert. However, within Queen Creek, it is located off East San Tan Boulevard and South Power Road.

It is south of East Riggs Road and north of East Hunt Highway. Because of it not being an incorporated city, Chandler Height also does not have many services like other nearby cities enjoy.

People who live here are served by airports in Phoenix, Mesa and Scottsdale. While there is no downtown located in Chandler Heights, residents there also have quick access to restaurants and entertainment in nearby Queen Creek.

The real estate market in Chandler Heights features primarily single-family homes. Condos and townhouses are available in Queen Creek and Gilbert.

However, the single-family homes here sell for on average $576,000. They consist on average of three to four bedrooms apiece with two to 3.5 bathrooms. They span as much as 6000 square feet and are located on quarter to three-quarter acre lots.

There are also undeveloped lots of land for sale. They are priced at around $240,000 and are as big as an entire acre for building a home.

Features

There are no parks in Chandler Heights. However, homeowners there can easily travel to nearby Gilbert or Queen Creek to find them.

Some of the most popular parks in the area include Desert Mountain Park with playgrounds and picnic areas. There is also San Tan Mountain Regional Park with hiking and walking trails.

Chandler Heights is served by the Queen Creek Unified School District. Local schools close to Chandler Heights include Santan Elementary and Junior High Schools, Casteel High School and Riggs Elementary School. There is also the American Leadership Academy close to Chandler Heights.

Freeway Access

Chandler Heights is located to the south and west of Highway 60 and southeast of Highway 202. It is northeast of I-10 and north of Highway 87.

To reach these thoroughfares, drivers in Chandler Heights need to take city routes that intersect them. To reach Highway 202, for example, they can drive east on Pecos Road.

Likewise, to reach 202 to the north, they can take South Power Road. Reaching I-10 calls for them to access highways like 202 and then driving east until they reach I-10.

Communities

Chandler Heights is its own community, albeit it one that is not incorporated with its own governing entity. People who want to live in a community with a board of directors or HOA can look to nearby Queen Creek. There are more than a dozen of such neighborhoods available there.

Hastings Farm is one of the leading upscale neighborhoods near Chandler Heights. It has brand new single-family homes for sale. It is close to Veterans Oasis Park.

Another one is Sossoman Estates. This gated community has upscale single-family large four and five-bedroom homes for sale.
