They offset the costs that the HOA incur when they hire contractors and technicians for projects within the community. Homeowners in Sunland Springs Village can pay their quarterly dues on the HOA website.

The premier amenity is the Sunland Springs Village 27-hole executive golf course, which surrounds many of the homes in the community. Residents can play year round and get first dibs on tee and playing times.

The Gilbert Unified School District has an enrollment of just over 34,000 students. Its student population gives it a student-to-teacher ratio of 18:1, which is just slightly higher than the national average of 16:1.

Nationally, the district gets a grade of A for its overall excellence. It achieves a grade of A for areas like academics, safety, teachers and college preparation. It gets grades of B for clubs and activities and diversity.

In the state of Arizona, the Gilbert Unified School District is ranked as the fifth best out of 115 districts. It has the seventh best overall athletic programs and is ranked 11th for its quality of teachers.

State standardized test scores show that 58 percent of the district’s students are proficient in both mathematics and reading. Ninety one percent of the district’s students graduate from high school. Students who take the ACT test for college score an average of 27, higher than the national ACT test score of 20.6.
