McCormick Ranch

Some FAQ

McCormick Ranch is a planned community in Scottsdale that dates to 1921 when it was a 160-acre ranch.  In the early 1940s, the property was purchased by the McCormick family, who sold it to Kaiser-Aetna in 1970.

In 1972, plans were created to transform the ranch into a residential subdivision for single-family homes as well as recreational facilities like bike paths, golf courses, and 130 acres of man-made lakes.  It is now one of the largest subdivisions in Scottsdale with 14,000 residents.

McCormick Ranch offers numerous dining and shopping facilities for residents and visitors alike.  These include the Seville Shopping Center, which consists of individual shops, salons, and restaurants.  For recreation, residents can play golf or enjoy the views at the McCormick Ranch Golf Club, which has several lakes on the property.

Several schools are also located in McCormick Ranch.  These include Cochise Elementary School, the International School of Arizona, and Saguaro High School.  The schools are part of the Scottsdale Unified School District.

Condo prices in McCormick Ranch range from $419,000 to more than $1 million.  Most of the homes for sale are single-family residences.  However, it is possible to find condominiums and townhouses for sale in this subdivision as well.
