Arcadia is a community that is located in both Phoenix and Scottsdale.  It is one of the older neighborhoods in the area and was once populated by citrus groves in the 1950s and 1960s.  Today, it is a residential neighborhood populated by custom-built homes.  As one of the more exclusive subdivisions, the home prices here are higher than those found in other parts of Phoenix.

Arcadia is a family-friendly neighborhood with a number of recreational facilities built with families in mind.  Arcadia Park and Southwest Recreation are both located in this neighborhood.  FLY Trapeze at the Phoenician is also a popular place for people who live in this community.

Arcadia is served by several healthcare facilities including HonorHealth Scottsdale Osborn Medical Center.  Other medical facilities include OASIS Hospital and Banner Health Clinic Family Medicine.

Arcadia also offers a number of different shopping locations for residents.  People who live here can check out the shops at Arcadia Town Center as well as Scottsdale Fashion Square.  Arcadia is also close to the world-famous Biltmore Fashion Park.

Arcadia is part of the Scottsdale Unified School District.  It is home to Echo Canyon Elementary School, Hopi Elementary School, and Arcadia High School.  

Much of the area today is made up of single-family homes that sell for $125,000 to upwards of $2.9 million.  Condominiums and townhouses are also for sale in this neighborhood.  Prices for these types of homes range from $199,900 to $289,000.
