Sundance

Sundance is an age-restricted 55 and better community that is located at the southern tip of the White Tank Mountains in Buckeye. It is one of the fastest-growing neighborhoods in the city. It has over 1100 homes and is surrounded by scenic views of the mountains just to the community’s north.

Sundance is governed by a homeowners association and a board of directors. Its daily operations are overseen by a professional management company.

Homebuyers who move to Sundance enjoy access to many activities and amenities designed for the 55 and better crowd. For example, the community hosts as many as 20 clubs, all geared toward activities like quilting, canasta, bridge, tennis, and water volleyball.

Sundance also has its own lending library, full of books that fellow residents have donated to it. There is a personal computer in the lending library that provides Internet access to Sundance homeowners. There is also a Keurig coffee maker where residents can bring their own or buy coffee pods to enjoy while browsing the library or using the computer.

Sundance has its own 18-hole championship golf course as well as a hot tub and two swimming pools. It likewise has its own fitness club, headed by a specially certified fitness instructor, that offers classes for balance and stretching, yoga, aqua aerobics, and Zumba. Residents can also use the club’s machines for cardio and resistance training.

Homeowners in Sundance can also use the neighborhood’s trails for walking their dogs or getting some exercise. Day passes are available for family members who want to visit residents in the community.
