A major attraction at Calabasas The group Site is nearby Peña Blanca Lake. This popular area for fishing, boating, and birdwatching is just a short drive on paved roads from the campground. Groups do come to Calabasas, however, to enjoy the area's natural setting. Campsites here are spread out among a stand of oak trees within a shallow, grassy valley. A few well-worn pathways lead to the tops of some low hills in the area where you will find good views of the surrounding hills, valleys, and mountains.
