Adding to the amenities of the Villa Center is the Adobe Spa and Fitness Center, an ideal place for “ripping curls” and breaking a good sweat. So don’t let the beauty of the courses make you think that they are not challenging as well. Both 18-hole championship courses were designed to accommodate players of all skill levels. Multiple tee placements alter the landscape of each hole by adding yardage and often require a more accurate tee shot. Deep, wide greens make it possible to vary the difficulty of pin placement. And those beautiful lakes, all 40 acres of them, come into play again and again. Residents of Sun City Grand are able to play Desert Springs and Granite Falls at reduced daily green fees. Just purchase the annual golf membership. The fee includes a private cart trail fee, green fees, eight-day advance tee-time reservations, and more.
Sun City Grand offers a location convenient to shopping, medical services, and financial institutions. For entertainment, the City of Phoenix offers theaters, dance companies, the Phoenix Symphony, and fine art galleries as well as the Phoenix Suns, Arizona Cardinals, Phoenix Coyotes, and the Arizona Diamondbacks professional sports franchises. Hiking, camping, fishing, and sightseeing at the Grand Canyon are all available at little cost or effort.
