Selecting Your REALTOR
When you are ready to start looking for a new home, the first step is selecting and then hiring a REALTOR to represent you.
The process of selecting an Arizona REALTOR is very much like hiring any other professional to represent your interests or provide services to you.
I invite you to interview me in person or on the phone. You will discover that I have a bachelor’s degree in Broadcasting and a master’s degree in Leadership. Additionally, that I have been practicing new home real estate full time for over 6 years and hold an Arizona Brokers license. If you check you will find that only a small percentage of new home real estate agents and REALTORS have completed the additional licensure requirements to obtain a Brokers license.
How is a Buyer's Broker Compensated?
You may be wondering how I will be compensated for my time and efforts. In almost all cases I will be paid by the seller through thelisting company who has the listing. If a property is not listed through a Multiple or Community Listing Service, such as a new home that is a "for sale by owner", it is my obligation as the Buyer's Broker to seek commission from the seller prior to the start of any negotiations.
