This individual will be measured on spend growth per customer, customer retention and portfolio profitability. The Relationship Manager will develop and deploy sales strategies and portfolio management techniques, including client visits and direct consultation with the customer in order to grow their spend by better meeting their needs.
The role requires a consultative approach with the customer. Core responsibilities include: Forging and deepening relationships with the appropriate decision makers within the portfolio. Developing a complete understanding of the needs of the customer base in order to exceed expectations utilizing appropriate internal/external tools and internal resources/relationships. Analyzing customer data to prioritize account penetration activities and develop appropriate strategies to increase the spending and profitability of the portfolio. Minimum 3 years of B2B sales with proven ability to drive results and business development.
