I am a 17-year-old single mother in the state of Arizona. I am pleased to say that I was born and raised in the state of Arizona. Growing up in the state of Arizona was not only a joy it was a privilege. A question that may be going through your mind is,” What is so great about Arizona?” The answer is everything. For starters, Arizona is one of the fastest growing states in the United States of America. Arizona is constantly increasing in population, increasing so fast that construction work for new homes is commonly seen just about anywhere in Arizona. Arizona is also known for interesting landmarks like the Grand Canyon and beautiful scenery, which attracts tourists all through the year.

 

Secondly, Arizona has many opportunities. Being a single mother, I can honestly say that at times, life can be challenging and without the correct resources life alone can be very hard. However, Arizona offers so many resources to be able to overcome any obstacle. For example, multiple programs for the youth and senior citizens. In Arizona, resources and opportunities are available to anyone in need upon their request.

 

Unlike Colorado where it’s always cold and Florida where it’s always hot Arizona has many different climates. Which is great considering the fact you’re not forced to live in either hot or cold weather all year long. However, if you happen to be one of the individuals that prefers strictly hot weather or strictly cold weather every city is different. For example, Flagstaff seems to stay pretty cool in temperature and Phoenix seems to stay pretty warm in temperature. Therefore, as far as weather goes Arizona is a great place to be.

 

Arizona also has many interesting and fun places to go. Arizona has a number of malls, amusement parks, and movie theaters that can be found just about anywhere in the state, not to mention museums, animal zoos and recreational parks for quality family time. No matter the city, there is always something of this nature located near you.

 

Arizona is also a great place for career opportunities. Just about anywhere you look, whether it’s a newspaper, employment guide, or the media job, career opportunities are always being advertised. Arizona is also a great place to go to school. Arizona has so many community colleges and universities it is amazing, not to mention grants and scholarships that are offered all the time to help pay for school. Arizona paints a picture that makes it very difficult to be unemployed without an education. Therefore if you are an individual looking to reside in a great state, Arizona is the answer, and for those of you who are not, you are missing out on a great experience.
