Springerville is in Eastern Arizona . It is in Apache County. The town is located on Interstate 60 near the New Mexican border. Both Interstate 191 and Interstate 180 merge very close to Springerville. Springerville is the sister city to Eager, located to its south. Both towns are in a mountain bowl called Round Valley.

There are several attractions you must see when you are in Springerville. The Casa Malpais Indian Ruins is an archaeological park, where you can learn more about the first inhabitants of the area. Raven Site Indian Ruins is another spot that contains more information on an ancient community. The Renee Cushman Art Museum holds dozens of pieces of art and furniture. Many of the items date from the Renaissance period to the early 20th century.

Springerville has numerous outdoor activities. The Colorado Trail Scenic Byway, along State Route 191 from Springerville to Morenci is known for its spectacular view and dangerous switchbacks. Lyman Lake State Park provides water sports, 1,400 acres of camping, hiking, petroglyphs, store and a herd of buffalo. There are two more lakes that have fishing nearby Mexican Hay Lake and Becker Lake.
