Northwest Valley Overview

Northwest Valley Location

the Northwest Valley covers a large portion of the far edges of the Valley of the Sun. It begins with its farthest northern boundary and includes the cowboy/resort town of Wickenburg, south to the city of Peoria, east to Deer Valley Village, and west to include the city Surprise. The area is comprised of three cities (Peoria, El Mirage, and Surprise), one town (Wickenburg), and four villages (North Gateway Village, Desert View Village, Deer Valley Village, and New Village).

Northwest Valley Properties

All of these towns/cities are experiencing new growth, both in commercial and residential developments. It is predicted that the Northwest Valley and its surrounding community clusters will prosper for the next ten to twenty years. It is an ideal area live, work, and play.

the cities of El Mirage and Surprise contain communities for all ages. Single family homes and retirement properties are available in and around both of these cities. Residents enjoy quiet friendly neighborhoods. New retail developments are springing up in El Mirage and Surprise, making it convenient to shop and receive services. Both cities have a common goal of creating good schools, libraries, and parks for their citizens.

the city of Peoria is one of the largest cities, when it comes to size, in the state of Arizona. The city’s latest land annexations was the acquisition of Lake Pleasant, located on the outer northwest fringes of the Valley of the Sun. This lake gives residents of Peoria an opportunity to participate in water sports year round. Lake Pleasant offers fishing, boating, swimming, waterskiing, jet skiing, picnicking, tour boat rides, and sailing. Outdoor activities are part of the fun when you live in the city of Peoria. Those choosing to make Peoria their home will find single family homes, along with large lots with bigger homes. Peoria is the place to be!

Wickenburg has long been a favorite town in Arizona. Just outside the Phoenix city limits, approximately 35 miles, north on State Highway 93 on the way to Kingman, sits the town of Wickenburg. Cowboys, cattle, and ranches have long been the mainstay of this town. However, today large estate properties and smaller ranch style homes can be found. Wickenburg’s small town feel continues to bring people to this community.

the four villages are a part of the Northwest Valley. These villages include North Gateway Village, Desert View Village, Deer Valley Village, and New Village. The city of Phoenix has 15 villages in all. These villages are neighborhoods that offer a variety of housing, employment, education, recreation, and shopping opportunities. The Northwest Valley is proud of its four villages.

the Northwest Valley has surging growth and affordable quality housing. It is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts, families, and those wanting to retire. It is a part of the Valley of the Sun that continues to provide a combination of small town charm, within a busy metropolitan city. The Northwest Valley has something to offer everyone.
